Richard Stubbs, LPC, MT-BC, CATP, QMHP
Richard Stubbs is one of three board certified music therapists licensed in Southern Oregon. He specializes in experiential therapies such as songwriting and lyric analysis, attachment focused music therapy, and an innovative integration of tabletop role-playing games into group therapy.
He is experienced in working with youth, adolescents, and families with a history of trauma and suicidalilty, and has training in a variety of evidence based practices including Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies.
Richard is also an avid outdoorsman. He spends as much free time as possible fishing, hiking, and rock climbing. He is currently developing a therapy program which incorporates these things to help adolescents and families build confidence, communication skills, and to simply have fun.
